Well I’m finally back from New Zealand and I can’t be happier to share this wedding with you all.

With every wedding, there is always something that goes wrong and this wedding was no exception. On a bright sunny day with not a cloud in sight, they lost power to their house (yes, their hydro bill was paid) while Lauren was getting her hair done. Not having a battery powered curling iron we ended up having to take a quick drive to a friends house to finish up. While her bridesmaids and her mom were starting to panic, Lauren was calmly calling her neighbours trying to find a “Plan B”. Staying calm when something doesn’t go exactly as plan is key to solving the problem – something wedding photographers need to keep in mind – and Lauren handled that perfectly. No screaming, no yelling, no breaking down. Amazing!

There really isn’t very much I can say about Chris except he makes me (and Lauren) laugh more than I can make him laugh – and that’s rare! He doesn’t even have to say anything, just the expression on his face is far more descriptive than anything he can say. Just see the photo of him after the cake cutting below.

Here is the collection of photos I loved the most.

Beautiful work as always Ryan. I love the pac-man ring shots, those are fun. That last shot is fantastic, but my favourites are the 2 shots, one of the bride and one of the groom in the trees…PERFECT!

Beautiful! The light painting finale is a stunner. Adorable bride, and I love the rich colors of the calla lilies. And Pac Man is a great flashback!
